| In Sept.,1987, the Central Michigan Railway purchased the line of track from Durand to Muskegon from the Grand Trunk Western. Shortly after, the GTW removed the diamond at Durand. This created run through problems for the TSB as we can see in this photo. They are headed north towards Flint, then they have to back their train south to head east to Pitts Junction where they cut off south for Howell. Photographer unknown. |
