GP9r's No. 4635 and 4634 have just brought the "Highlander" to Durand from Detroit. The TSB will take over from here and make the pull to Alma,MI. for the "Highland Festival." These two GP9r's were formerly 4901 and 4932.  Date of photograph is May 29, 1993.

Reading No.2102 on excursion at Durand from Detroit. October,1968 This locomotive was one of thirty converted from 2-8-0s to 4-8-4s between 1945 and 1947.

Detriot & Mackinaw No.181 coming into the Durand yard from Grand Rapids. No.181 is former Pennsylvania 2443. She is a C425M. This run was made every Saturday at this date, winter 1990. During the week Central Michigan made the run from Durand to Ionia and back. The crew from Grand Rapids dropped their cars at Ionia during the week.
